You can also check Monster, Careerbuilder, and Craigslist for some current openings. Call around and ask some of the doctors’ offices in your area if they need a medical transcriptionist. Be sure to also submit your resume online when looking through job listings. You should also be prepared to submit quite a few applications online when you find the list of medical transcription companies that hire people to work from home.

Remember not to be picky when applying for work. Your main objective is to find a job. Always make sure you submit a very professional-appearing resume highlighting your strengths. When talking to potential employers over the phone, try your best to remain professional, calm, and well-mannered. When the time is right, you will find the employment you are looking for.
